This is how we keep The Lean Stack free to use. We don't charge for the calculators, guides, or reviews, and affiliate commissions are the primary way this site is funded.

This doesn't change our opinions

We only recommend tools we'd genuinely suggest to a friend starting an online business. Our reviews and comparisons describe both what a tool does well and where it falls short, regardless of whether we earn a commission from it. If a tool isn't a good fit for a particular use case, we say so.

Where you'll see affiliate links

Affiliate links and disclosures appear throughout the site: in the homepage recommendation section, in the Systeme.io review and comparison pages, in relevant guides, and in the site header and footer. Any page that recommends a paid tool by name is a page that may contain an affiliate link to it.

Our calculators are independent

The free tools under /tools use publicly available pricing and your own inputs to produce an estimate - they aren't designed to steer you toward any particular product.
